I have been privileged to have visited a number of African countries and regions as a part of my job as travel consultant for Mahlatini African Travel, specialists in luxury safaris and Indian Ocean beach holidays. When I am asked about my favourite destination in Africa it is impossible to answer that question as there are so many places which have offered me such incredible memories, however, I have narrowed down my personal favourite experiences:
- Tracking the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda – This is certainly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. After an arduous trek through the rainforest we spent an hour in the company of these very rare creatures observing them playing, eating and interacting.
